As we all know there are many categories around the Internet. Lately I noticed a genre that we all know and cherish, but yet never really pay notice too- War games. War games are everything that includes action, shooting, strategy, RPG and even Zombie killing games, all of those genres can be categorized under war games category.
We may think and say that war games are the inverted replicas of the classical tower defense games games. The differences would be that except that the shooting location is usually part of a big war going on, it can be a war against zombies, against soldiers or any creature your imagination can think of. The main idea in these games is not finding clues or friends, it's usually (except the high detailed strategy games) is to kill anything you see.
While the older crowd usually prefer strategy and RPG games, the younger crowd usually relates better to the classical shooting games, sniper games and zombie games. Either way, all ages can relate to those games, as they offer lots of fun and action to explore.
Even though war games can draw all ages, it's a knows fact that men players prefer this genre a lot more then the female section, that usually prefer more relaxed gaming without war and blood.
So, whether it's a present war zone, futuristic scene or even a remote planet, they all have the same linkage- war games battle grounds. It's up to you choosing your preferred one from the available niches. I personally prefer the RPG and sniper games, as the first one offers character build up and long game play, the other one offers a pure shooting fun, with an emphasis on patience and logic problem solving , as many of the missions require patience and logical abilities.
War games are becoming one of the latest best trends on online games industry, awarding game players the chance to practice vast war or playing the role of an exotic assassin in a sniper game, it doesn't really matter what you prefer, cause war games can and will deliver it.
