SPACE CAMP 2016
We successfully conducted our 1st SPACE CAMP during May 2014 and 2nd SPACE CAMP during April 2015. Veterans in Space Research such as Senior Scientists of ISRO and Indian Institute of Astrophysics interacted with our students, conducted classes, explained to them on satellites, rockets, planets, orbits, space missions etc. Our students spent a whole day in ISRO Satellite Centre watching satellites getting assembled and integrated. They also had a wonderful day of intense learning on all aspects of MANGALYAN when we took them to Indian Deep Space Network at Byalalu. The SPACE CAMP 2016 will be conducted for 6 days from April 18th to 23rd at Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology centre at IISc campus Malleswaram, Bangalore. The timings are from 9.30 am to 3pm. It will include 4 days of in house activities and interaction with the Space Scientists, Astronomers and Astrophysicists and two days of outing (field visits to two of ISRO's facilities). The fee for the camp is Rs 6000 per participant.
