SAVE THE DATE: Cyber Security Breakfast: Red Teaming, Live Hacks & Spy Tools | IFB 2016 OPENING DAY Join us as the InnoTech Network brings you a morning of security discussions with a hands on opportunity for all who are interested in learning a bit more about red teaming. So... What is a red team? In addition to conventional penetration testing techniques, red teaming allows an organisation to understand the real-world risks it is exposed to from threat actors who are only interested in achieving their goal. More people, more things, more threats. With the constant miniaturisation of electronics, combined with cheap mass-production from the Far East, attack tools can now be developed for use in red team exercises that previously were only available to attackers with significant technical resources and capabilities. We are looking to host a showcase of red team operations and hope to make this a more interactive experience compared to your average security breakfast briefings. Join us for a discussion that's not to be missed as we showcase some of the novel technical tools developed and often used to emulate the tactics of motivated attackers. We can't promise an Aston Martin DB5 with an ejector seat, but we do have plenty of useful gadgets that our teams use when carrying out red team exercises.
